Our Crest
The symbol of Rosemount Irish Soccer
Ever wondered where football (soccer) clubs got their crest — and what they stand for? Players point to them in celebration. Super fans get them tattooed. Crests are tied into the DNA of a club and are a visual representation of what a team stands for.
In early 2023, it was decided that the Boys Soccer program needed a new crest to represent Irish soccer at Rosemount. Inspired by Ireland's national team crest, the Rosemount Irish Boys crest took shape — a nod to the past and a symbol that represents pride, passion, and ambition, celebrating the iconic Shamrock.
Rosemount established their soccer program in 1978 under the direction of Dennis Gillund with similar ideals. The soccer ball at the center reflects the evolution of Rosemount Irish soccer over the past decades. The F, A, R at the three points stands for “Football Association of Rosemount” — encompassing all youth levels in the Rosemount community.
Take pride, Rosemount Irish Soccer athletes. When you take the field, remember what's over your heart — as you represent what Irish soccer is all about.
