The Rosemount High School Boys Soccer program respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website or our iOS app.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Personal information (name, email address, phone number) provided during registration
Student information related to team participation
Photos and media submitted for team galleries
Photos and messages you send in team or direct chats
Attendance responses (whether a player is attending a match) and volunteer sign-ups
If you use the iOS app and allow notifications: a device token issued by Apple, used only to deliver notifications to your device. It does not identify you personally and is deleted when you sign out or turn notifications off.

We use the collected information for:

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Information may be shared only:

With your explicit consent
With school district officials as required for program administration
When required by law or legal process

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Photos and Media

Photos and videos submitted to the team gallery are reviewed by program administrators before they are published.

Photos sent in a chat are different: they post immediately to that conversation without review, and are visible to its members. They are stored at a private, unguessable web address — anyone given that address could open the image, so please treat a chat photo as shareable and do not post anything you would not want forwarded.

6. The iOS App

The app uses the same account and the same information as the website. Two things are specific to it:

Notifications. If you allow them, we store a device token from Apple so we can send match reminders, score alerts and announcements. You can turn each category off in the app under More → Notifications, or switch notifications off entirely in iOS Settings. Urgent safety messages are always delivered.
Offline copies. The app keeps a copy of the schedule, your players and recent messages on your device so it works without a signal. That copy stays on your phone, is not shared with us beyond the requests that produced it, and is erased when you sign out.

7. Service Providers

We do not sell your information. We do rely on a small number of companies to run the site and app, and your information passes through them only for that purpose:

Supabase — accounts, database and file storage
Vercel — website and app hosting
Apple — notification delivery to iOS devices
Resend — email delivery
Stripe — payment processing, where fees are paid online
Sentry — error reports, so faults can be diagnosed

8. How Long We Keep Information

Account and roster information is kept while a player is in the program and for a reasonable period afterwards for historical records. Messages and photos remain until deleted. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time using the contact address below.

You have the right to:

Access your personal information
Request corrections to your information
Request deletion of your account and data
Opt-out of non-essential communications

10. Children's Privacy

The website and app are designed for use by high school students, parents and guardians, and program staff. Accounts are held by adults or by students of high-school age; a parent or guardian is linked to their player by program staff before they can see that player's information. We comply with applicable laws regarding the collection and use of information from minors, including student record requirements.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
